Sumac (Cotinus Coggygria) Has a strong vasodilation effect, thereby increasing the blood supply through the blood vessels that nourish the hair follicle. This effectively induces a new growth cycle, prolonging its active growth phase (anagen) and increasing the growth rate of the hair and the width of the hair shaft.
Arnica (Arnica Montana) The root of Arneca plant contains Tymol - an effective vasodilator of subcutaneous blood capillaries, which relaxes tension in the vascular system often caused by stress and anxiety. This allows better blood supply and therefore nourishment to the hair preventing it from falling out prematurely and aiding regrowth. Arnica can also prevent premature greying of the hair.
Quinine An alkaline extract obtained from the bark of the Cinchona tree which acts as a powerful relaxant and vasodilator, restoring and maintaining good blood supply to the hair follicle.
Caffeine Is well known for its powerful stimulating effect. Used in a unique combination with Arnica, Sumac and Quinine, which relax the blood vessels, Caffeine stimulates blood flow to ensure faster plentiful fresh blood supply and therefore more nutrients to the hair follicle. Caffeine acts as a hair growth simulator and is easily absorbable through the scalp giving fast results.
Sarsaparilla (Smilax) This plant extract contains a hair growth hormone, which acts to increase blood flow around the hair follicle and reduce inflammation, while the anti-sebum action treats and balances hormonal conditions in women and men.
Bulgarian Rosewater Rose has excellent stimulation properties and has a natural regenerative effect on hair follicles. It stimulates blood flow and increases blood supply in the scalp to provide more nutrients and minerals to the hair follicle, thus promoting healthy hair growth. It also helps to reduce inflammation and has a strong antibacterial function. With regular use, Rosewater is a natural and gentle way to maintain a healthy scalp and hair.
Nettle Contains 16 free amino acids and proteins plus vitamins and minerals that are essential for healthy hair growth. Nettle has a direct effect of preventing excessive sebum production and cleanses blocked hair follicles. It inhibits the conversion of testosterone into DiHydroTestosterone (DHT), which is the major cause of hair loss. Nettle in combination with Burdock may also prevent premature greying of the hair.
Burdock A root extract rich in phytosterols and essential fatty acids (including rare long-chain EFAs), the nutrients required to combat hair loss, restore and maintain a healthy scalp with its cleansing, skin healing and strengthening properties. It has a relieving effect on the sebaceous gland and hair follicle, promoting natural healthy hair growth and improving hair strength, shine, and body. It is also used to ease dandruff and scalp itching.
D-Panthenol The provitamin of pantothenic acid (also known as Pro vitamin B5). It is best known for its revitalising and conditioning effects in the hair and scalp. It is an excellent nutrient and hydrator with a unique ability to actually penetrate the roots and hair shaft and alleviates inflammation of the scalp. Best delivered to the hair through the shampoo and conditioner.
Brewer’s yeast A natural source of B-group vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6), valuable essential amino acids, minerals and microelements (iron, zinc, manganese, chromium, selenium), which are of fundamental importance for the structural development and condition of hair, scalp skin and underlying connective tissue. It also contains Biotin, an essential nutrient whose enzymatic action helps with the formation of essential fatty acids and glucose. It helps to strengthen the protein structures of the hair. Brewer’s yeast is a key ingredient for the improvement of the health of the hair and can be best delivered orally as a food supplement as well as in the shampoo and conditioner.
Argan Oil Extracted from the kernels of the argan tree, the oil is rich in natural vitamin E and antioxidants. It contains carotenoids and folic acid which protect the follicle and hair from external damage. Argan oil also contains squalene - a fat-soluble antioxidant which can deeply penetrate through the scalp to repair premature damage and ageing. The unsaturated essential fatty acids in addition help retain moisture.
Jojoba Oil Dissolves and clears sebum blockages, balance sebum production, stimulate new hair cells and improve micro-circulation in the scalp. Its antifungal properties can help to treat psoriasis and scalp dermatitis. An intense conditioner to moisturise the scalp and help strengthen the follicle shaft.
Almond Oil Prized for its natural moisturizing properties, Almond Oil nourishes hair roots as well as stimulates growth and enhances shine, suppleness and elasticity. It also helps to treat scalp infections by reducing inflammation and soften the dead skin on the scalp which makes it easier to remove. Once the dead skin is removed from the scalp, the hair follicles are unblocked and the hair is allowed to grow properly again. It can also be effectively used to massage the scalp and also to treat skin problems such as dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis.
Vitamin A One of the three key vitamins essential for hair growth, as well as keeping it hydrated. It regulates the synthesis of retinoic acid inside hair follicles and hence promotes healthy hair growth. Its antioxidant properties help to keep dangerous free radicals from damaging hair. Oily by nature it is best applied in an oil base.
Vitamin E (tocopherol) Increases the amount of oxygen circulating in the blood to the scalp, providing sufficient nourishment in the scalp to promote faster hair growth and prevent hair loss. It also acts as a stimulant to the immune system, stimulating hair growth. Best applied to the hair in an oil base form.
Vitamin D3 Helps maintain the healthy hair-growth cycle, from the growth phase to the regression phase to the resting phase. Stimulates hair follicles and the cells that form the hair shaft to promote hair growth, as well as reducing hair loss. It also helps improve calcium absorption, supports the growth of bones and contributes to healthy nails.
Vitamin F Also known as essential fatty acids (or EFAs), Vitamin F is composed of two types of fatty acid: linoleic and alpha-linoleic. These two types of EFAs are omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids, which include linoleic acid and gamma-linoleic acid. Omega 6 controls the hair’s water loss, and thus its hydration, whereas omega 3 maintains its elasticity. Their role is to maintain the scalp’s skin at a proper level of hydration, and to give it elasticity and resistance and for healthy hair growth
Biotin (Vitamin H) Found in vitamin B-complex and is used to treat alopecia (partial to complete hair loss). It metabolises fatty acids, which are a valuable growth factor in numerous processes in the body including hair growth. Also helps produce the protein keratin, the building block of hair and nails, and acts as an aid in preventing premature ageing and greying process of the hair.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) Is connected to cell development and tissue growth, which makes it an excellent hair growth vitamin. It also maintains the health of the blood vessels that carry blood to the roots of the hair. Improves blood circulation in the scalp and provides sufficient quantities of nutrients needed for healthy hair growth.
Vitamin E (tocopherol) – increases the amount of oxygen circulating in the blood to the scalp, providing sufficient nourishment in the scalp to promote faster hair growth and to slow hair loss. It also functions as a stimulant to the immune system, stimulating hair growth.
Magnesium (Magnesium Stearate) – an anti-stress microelement, which combined with zinc helps improve the function of beta-cells in the pancreas. It also assists in better absorption of calcium of the body.
Zinc (Zinc Gluconate) It plays a vital part in many bodily processes and functions such as in cell reproduction, hormonal balance, proper absorption of vitamins, and in protein synthesis, all these processes are vital for proper hair growth and prevent hair thinning and loss. It also maintains the oil-secreting glands that are attached to the hair follicle.
Iron (Iron Citrate) An important mineral for the formation of haemoglobin, the part of the red blood cell that carries oxygen. Improves blood circulation, which provides nutrients to the hair follicles stimulating the production of proteins necessary for the growth and health of the hair.
Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) A hormone regulator (hormone imbalance is often the cause of hair loss) and also balances protein intake, especially Cysteine, helping the absorption of amino acids and to transport it to the proper tissues. It supports a healthy nervous system, helps the body to metabolize fat and protein and encourage healthy hair, skin, eyes and liver functions.
Nicotinamide (Vitamin PP) Has a dilating effect on blood vessels and capillaries, increasing blood circulation to the scalp and stimulates hair growth. It also has a positive effect on hair growth by reducing cholesterol which when get collected in the scalp can trigger the formation of DHT. It is a good anti-inflammatory agent which helps reduces symptoms of many scalp conditions.
Vitamin B1 (Thiamin) Converts carbohydrates into glucose, essential for normal growth and development. It is the key to nervous system functions, especially in times of stress. B1 has also been found to play an important role in preserving muscle tone along the digestive tract wall, as well as ensuring optimum hair, skin, eyes, mouth and kidney health.
Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) Riboflavin is known to increase energy levels, boost the function of the immune system and maintain healthy hair, skin and nails. Riboflavin plays a crucial role in hair growth by activating vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride), the key to hair development. Riboflavin is an effective way to provide hair follicles with the proper nutrients needed to increase hair growth.
Folic Acid (Vitamin B9) B9 is essential for DNA synthesis, cell formation and growth, creating the amino acids that are the building blocks of protein. As hair is 100% protein, it is necessary to ensure a sufficient intake for continued healthy hair growth.
